The Operations Supervisor supports the Operations Manager and the Assistant Operations Manager in the supervision and guidance of house crews during

set-up, breakdown, and changes for all events. This position oversees,

motivates, and coaches scheduled teams assigned to the housekeeping and conversion activities while ensuring exceptional building appearance and

cleanliness for utmost client experience.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
• Directs and oversees housekeeping and setup team members engaged in the cleaning, setup, and breakdown of events within facility.
• Follows and tracks the preventive housekeeping and maintenance measures for non-mechanical aspects of the facility.
• Practices and enforces a safe and healthy working environment by enacting ASM Global policies including VenueShield and other third-party certifications as guided by management. Strictly practice all guidelines issued by

governmental agencies and report those who fail to adhere to expectations.
• Anticipates problems and provide appropriate solutions, keeping operations management team informed of changes.
• Assures facility readiness and smooth operations of events for first class

customer service.
• Works collaboratively with internal and external partners on the efficient

execution of department responsibilities without impeding or delaying the work of others.
• Utilizes multiple computerized task management systems and ensures

completion of assigned work.
• Enforces employee dress code and grooming standards.
• Coaches team members in a manner that yields continual productivity and promotes an engaging work environment.
• Gains an intermediate understanding of union guidelines and how to work

efficiently within them.
• Inspects completed work for compliance to company standards and client needs.
• Understand and embrace the Green/Sustainability Initiatives; promote

adherence through following expectations and coaching of operations

department team members and colleagues.
• Coordinate the disbursement of department supplies in accordance with

department zone allocation plan; prepare to adjust based off event needs.
• Ensures equipment is in good working order; communicates and reports any equipment not in working order.
• Submits maintenance requests for repairs, damages, and preventative

maintenance.
• Follows and enforces company policies for team members ensuring utmost safety regulations, Including the proper use of all chemicals by housekeeping team members in accordance with Safety Data Sheets (SDS).
• Adheres to all ASM Global Safety Policies and Procedures while performing within all OSHA guidelines.
• Performs other duties, tasks, or special assignments/projects as assigned.

Education and/or Experience
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Bachelors or Associates Degree in, business, sport, hospitality management or relevant field is preferred.
• 1-2 years leadership or supervisory experience, preferably within hospitality or related industry, preferred

Computer Skills
• To perform this job successfully, an individual should be proficient in Microsoft Outlook and Word with working knowledge in Excel.
Other Qualifications
• Irregular hours and minimal land and/or air travel may be required.
• Work hours are based on event and business requirements but include

irregular, extended hours including weekends and evenings.

This position requires the duties be completed in both indoor and outdoor

environments ranging from both quiet and noisy atmospheres. This position is exposed to outside weather conditions and temperature changes, adverse weather conditions, dust, dirt, cleaning agent odors, heavy crowds of people, and other working conditions expected within a public forum. Position is

exposed to moderate to high noise levels and bright and/or flashing lights along with limited exposure to airborne inhalants such as vehicular exhaust, dust and/or cleaning solutions while performing duties.

While performing the duties of this job, the position may also require:
• climbing stairs or ladders, working from various heights, moving on ice or

slippery surfaces, bending, stooping, kneeling occasionally
• Standing for sustained amounts of time.
• Lifting, carrying, pushing/pulling items of at least 75 pounds and/or strenuous working conditions
• Manual dexterity, good vision, balance and steadiness of the arm and hand for equipment operation.
• Vision, hearing and speech frequently used or communications and speaking, judging distances, reading signs, listening to others in a public forum or noisy atmosphere.
