GPU full chip random verification team works as the safety net of the chip. We catch function bugs in the HW by randomly generating tests and running them in various pre-silicon full chip platforms and debugging the failures. We have good opportunity to learn complex cross unit new features in the new GPU architectures.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Study next generation GPU architecture and new graphics/compute features.

  • Connect with GPU architecture designers to make random testing plan which provides good coverage.

  • Create and apply random methodology and infrastructure to generate tests.

  • Run and debug random tests in various platforms, e.g., functional simulator, full chip and unit-level RTL, emulator and silicon.

  • Design innovative tools to improve the efficiency of GPU architecture validation and verification.

What we need to see:

  • 4+ years' work experience, proven knowledge of computer science, with the focus on computer graphics and/or compute architecture.

  • Good understanding of GPU concept and pipeline, in terms of graphics processing and/or parallel computing.

  • Good Linux and C++ debugging experience.

  • Bachelor in CS or EE. MS or PhD is a plus.

Ways to stand out from the crowd:

  • Knowledge of OpenGL/D3D/glCompute/CUDA.

  • Random system design and work experience.

  • ASIC experience.
