We are seeking a Software Engineer who will support creating and managing the process of verifying and validating that system and software products operate and comply with requirements and design. You will be responsible for coordinating test processes including test requirements, planning, execution, and reporting. You will provide provides technical expertise in testing and product knowledge. You will write test procedures and develop test plans. You will research areas for current tool and process enhancement. You will analyze and evaluate major administrative, technical, and programmatic aspects of weapon system programs required for system software verification and validation.

Additionally, you will configure necessary hardware and operating environments as needed to complete assigned testing, and provide technical know-how on particular products, operating systems and specialized environments. You will perform evaluations of various software related products. You will perform assessments of these software products through all phases of the development life cycle, including software specifications, design verification, coding, testing, and data validation. In this role you will develop software that supports verification and validation activities and test automation.

Required

• ABET accredited BS in an Engineering or Computer Science 
• Minimum 3 years related experience including experience with software/system testing or development activities
• Knowledge of military and software development industry standards, software test methodologies, software requirement generation and maintenance
• Knowledge of system administration ideologies and hardware components
• Experience with systems and interoperability-level testing of various systems
• Experience with Static Code Analyzers such as Fortify, Coverity, Pylint, Cppcheck or CodePeer.
• Experience with one or more programming languages such as C/C++, Java, Ada and Python.
• Ability to travel
• Ability to obtain and maintain security clearance
