As a Data Science Engineer at Micron, you'll make value of data and build practical intelligent applications. You will have the chance to define an innovative system which translates business requirements to a workable solution with required data science methods embedded. You'll partner with experienced developers to enable user friendly web UIs and APIs. By collaborating with multi-functional teams, like customers, data scientists, machine learning engineers, and data engineers, you'll learn critical domain knowledges as well as basic concepts of ML/DL algorithms and system integration requirements. We expect intern has decent programming skills, is interested in self-learning new techniques, and is passionate about solving the practical problem. We're seeking any talent who has strong motivation of growing a career as a full stack AI solution provider.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Hands-on experience with cleanroom equipment, including familiarity with lithography equipment and processing, and related metrology.
  • Understanding of DUV and EUV lithography, including different wave length in EUV/Immersion/ ArF dry/KrF (248nm)/I-line (365nm) lithography.
  • Knowledge and an understanding of EUV patterning processes, including material evaluations; reticle, layout and OPC development; process window analysis; and overlay optimization.
  • Knowledge and an understanding of 193nm immersion multiple patterning processes, including Litho-etch-litho-etch (LELE) and Self-aligned quadruple patterning (SAQP).
  • Knowledge of optics for photolithography or experience with photolithography simulation software such as Prolith or S-Litho is helpful Knowledge of optics for photolithography or experience with photolithography simulation software such as Prolith or S-Litho is helpful.
  • Coursework or proven experience showing strong statistical analysis skills, including design of experiments and data analysis. Experience with JMP, Python, or other statistical analysis software is helpful
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English. Ability to write and present clear and concise executive summaries for Micron and supplier management teams.
  • Flexibility to work occasional weekends and evenings as needed

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • Degree/Major: M.S. or Ph.D. in Engineering, Chemistry, Physics, or study relevant to Photolithography; or a B.S. in Engineering, Chemistry, or Physics with 5 years’ semiconductor process related experience with emphasis on Photolithography will be considered.
