Job Summary:
The Distribution Specialist is responsible for inbound/outbound movements and activities for a variety of medical technology parts and equipment. This includes the physical movement, assembly, packing, and electronic tracking by following the standard procedures of Haemonetics’ distribution services and GMP methods.
Primary Responsibilities:
Ensures warehouse activities and material control are performed following company policies and controls.
Performs raw and finished goods material movement between warehouses and manufacturing areas.
Process inventory deliveries in FIFO to manufacturing departments and completes all necessary system transactions to ensure inventory accuracy.
Ensures accuracy by processing accurate material transactions in the accepting and issuing of material; keeps accurate storage and locations of materials.
Supports inventory accuracy and goals by actively participating in annual and other periodic physical inventory activities, investigating and reconciling differences.
Process cycle counts on raw materials and finished warehouse according to procedure
Contributes to team effort by ensuring data accuracy and integrity, assuring system compliance with laws, regulations, and corporate standards.
Complies with QSR, ISO, and applicable regulations and company procedures, compliance with applicable GMP’s and SOPs.
Ensures optimal housekeeping by following procedure, maintaining Warehouse in a near and safe manner, improving warehousing space usage ensuring material is stored maximizing available space.
Maintains Security and Health, Safety, and Environmental good practices and complies with organization standards/procedures, ensuring a safe and healthy environment.
Qualifications:
High School diploma or GED equivalent, required.
1+ year of working experience in a warehouse environment, required.
Forklift Certification or the ability to gain Certification upon hire, required.
Proficient in forklift operation, required.
Computer literacy, required. Experience in ERP or WMS such as Oracle, SAP, or JDE, preferred.
