Procurement Analyst

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute procurement strategies to ensure timely and cost-effective acquisition of materials and services.

  • Oversee the performance of existing suppliers and implement improvement plans as needed.

  • Coordinate with internal commercial and operations teams to align procurement activities with company goals and objectives.

  • Monitor market trends, competitor strategies, and market suppliers to identify opportunities for cost savings and quality improvements.

  • Prepare and present reports on procurement activities, supplier performance, and market conditions.

  • Ensure compliance with company policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements in all procurement activities.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience in purchasing.

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and projects.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other data analysis tools.

  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and make informed decisions.

  • Proven experience in supplier and vendor management, including contract negotiation and performance evaluation.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

  • Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and precision.
