About the Role

The Position

You will join the Transactions team and will assist with executing investment and divestment activities in the region. This position will report to the Head for Transactions for the region.

This is a 6-month contract role based in Singapore. In the longer term, our analysts have the opportunity to rotate across different teams to gain exposure to the full spectrum of investment activities across the real estate investment space.

Key Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the production of detailed underwriting models to enable the assessment of potential investment opportunities, with responsibility extending to the generation of key underwriting assumptions and running sensitivity and scenario analyses.

  • Assist with the preparation of Investment Committee memorandums through risk analysis and in-depth understanding of investment factors.

  • Support the transaction due diligence and closing processes.

  • Involved in analysing and underwriting investment decisions for leasing, financing, buy/sell scenarios including preparation of cash flow models, sensitivity tables, property valuations, and joint venture structuring.

  • Assist with the production of periodic reports and key investment papers, including investor presentations, internal pitch decks, investment committee memorandums and updating of internal databases for deal tracking.

  • Assist in developing investment strategies and presentation material for capital raising initiatives.  

  • To carry out market and sector specific research for deals under evaluation by searching and synthesizing information from various public and subscribed data sources.

  • Assist with various ad-hoc initiatives and projects taking place across the broader business

Skills and Qualifications

  • 0-2 years of relevant experience

  • Strong interest in APAC real estate market; experience in market research, valuations etc. will be advantageous

  • Strong technical modelling skills knowledge of Microsoft Office applications especially Excel and Powerpoint

  • Strong quantitative, analytical and problem‐solving skills with a good understanding of risk/reward relationship

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English

  • Proactive, motivated, high degree of integrity and professionalism

  • Detail oriented and highly organised

  • Ability to prioritize, multi‐task in a time sensitive environment

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively; strong interpersonal skills
