Notre équipe responsable des fondements du contenu (Content Foundations) basée à Montréal s’agrandit et elle a une place pour vous. Nous sommes déterminés à fournir à nos clients du contenu attrayant et de grande qualité, pour en faire des voyageurs avisés. Notre équipe est responsable de produits et de services qui traitent de gros volumes de données structurées et non structurées, sous forme de texte et de différents médias, qu’elle convertit pour en faire du contenu qui aide les voyageurs à choisir l’hébergement qui leur convient le mieux, qu’il s’agisse d’un hôtel ou d’une propriété de vacances. Les prochains mandats de l’équipe s’annoncent palpitants dans un contexte où nous préparons nos gammes de produits en vue d’une expansion mondiale et jetons les bases de l’avenir d’Expedia. Vous travaillerez sur des systèmes essentiels qui aident à façonner l’architecture de la stratégie de contenu d’Expedia visant à susciter l’intérêt des voyageurs. Vous travaillerez aussi à résoudre des problèmes à grande échelle, à mettre sur pied des techniques révolutionnaires permettant d’évaluer le système, et à améliorer la qualité du contenu.
Dans ce rôle, vous aurez les responsabilités suivantes :
À titre de gestionnaire de programmes, vous devrez comprendre les échéanciers et les jalons des projets, et les intégrer dans le cadre d’un programme, tout en cernant les recoupements et les dépendances entre les diverses tâches. Vous gérerez le programme et rendrez compte de l’avancement des projets dans le cadre du programme. Vous collaborerez avec les équipes de développement pour limiter les problèmes et atténuer les risques afin d’assurer la santé du programme, notamment en gérant les lacunes réelles ou potentielles en matière de ressources pour les projets et en recommandant des stratégies d’atténuation.

Our team owns products and services that handle large volumes of structured and unstructured data, in the form of text and media, converting it to content that helps travelers pick the best property, be it a hotel or a vacation rental. These are exciting times for this team as we are preparing our product lines for global expansion and laying the foundation for Expedia's future. You will work on critical systems which help form the architecture of Expedia's content strategy to engage the traveler. You are going to be working on problems of substantial scale, ground-breaking techniques to have the system assess and improve the quality of content.
In this role, you will:
As a program manager, you will understand and integrate timelines and milestones across projects within a program, identifying areas of alignment and dependencies. You will manage the program and report on progress of projects within the program. You will work with the development teams to mitigate issues and risks to ensure program health including managing the actual or potential gaps in resourcing for projects and recommending strategies to mitigate.
Facilitate working with different, passionate people with varied perspectives to develop effective solutions to issues
Break down complex information and break projects down into understandable terminology and practical concepts
Turn business requirements and user stories in technical requirements and drive discussions among multiple business and technical teams to scope and schedule effort
Build project plans, requirements specifications and perform data analysis
Manage programs, participate in prioritization decisions and governance
Seek out opportunities to build and strengthen relationships across teams and departments
Experience and qualifications:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in a related technical field; or equivalent related professional experience
Bilingual in French and English preferred
Experienced in leading complex software development programs and tracked commitments, resourcing, dates, and deliveries
You possess excellent project management skills, including active mitigation of risks to the plan, providing status updates, management of trade-offs to drive satisfactory completion of project, and facilitation of planning and governance activities with team(s)
Proficient with project management tools
Knowledge of Agile development methodology and web technologies are assets
You seek and implement continuous improvements into all project processes, including defining the appropriate methodology to empower development teams and track progress
Starting pay for this role will vary based on multiple factors, including location, available budget, and an individual’s knowledge, skills, and experience. Pay ranges may be modified in the future.
