Job Summary

We are looking for a Water Engineer Intern to join our Bellevue, WA or Olympia, WA office for Summer 2025. As a Water Intern, you'll gain the opportunity to immerse yourself in diverse water projects. You will assist engineers and engineering staff within a variety of project support roles. This internship is your chance to be part of a collaborative community where you can expand your knowledge and sharpen your skills through hands-on meaningful work.

Responsibilities & Qualifications

What You Will Do

• Become familiar with engineering plans and details
• Assist with project monitoring and scheduling
• Assist with computer modeling
• Assist with producing progress reports
• Collaborate with other engineers, drafters, and support staff
• Assist in production of engineering drawings, calculations, and cost estimates under supervision of senior engineers
• Ability to apply the use of proper codes and standards in the production of engineering deliverables
• Attend site visits or inspections (as needed)

• Exceptional organizational and time management skills, with a proven ability to efficiently prioritize and manage multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of producing clear documentation and interacting professionally with clients and colleagues

Your Education and Experience

• Current 3rd or 4th year standing as an undergraduate, or a Graduate student standing, in an accredited Civil/Environmental/Chemical/Mechanical Engineering program. BS degree preferred.
• Experience with MS Office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• AutoCAD, AutoCAD Civil 3D and/or MicroStation experience is preferred
