We are currently hiring a Red Seal Automotive Technician based in our Victoria Automotive Service Centre.
As a Red Seal Automotive Technician, you will lead any repair that comes to your location. You mentor other technicians and lead by example when it comes to safety, operational excellence and clear communication with Members and your BCAA team.

Once here, you will:
Complete all repairs to meet BCAA’s high standards for safety, performance and outstanding service to our Members.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment that aligns with environmental standards, operational policies and procedures while ensuring equipment is in good working condition for your entire BCAA team.
Be proactive by staying current with advances in vehicle technology.
Work collaboratively with the Service Manager and other team members to ensure a flawless experience for our Members.
Assist and mentor apprentices and lube technicians to ensure repairs are accurate and complete.
What you bring
Automotive Red Seal Certificate. Current and up-to-date training on automotive technologies with a focus on OBD-II courses
Three-years of experience as a Journeyperson Technician
Clean BC Driver License Class 5 or better
Ability to lift 70 lbs (32 kg), bend, reach, walk and stand for long periods of time
Working knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
Experience with Automotive DMS systems and modern scan tools

The salary range for this position is $66,515.04 to $83,143.80 and is determined via job-related knowledge, skills, experience, certifications, market demand and internal equity. In addition to base salary and BCAA benefits, this position is eligible for a performance bonus target of 9%, with the opportunity to earn up to 15%.
