POSITION SUMMARY

The Sr Business Intelligence Developer is responsible for building internal and external-facing Business Intelligence (BI) solutions and working with a team of experienced analysts, developers, and business resources to build high-performing enterprise solutions.

DESCRIPTION

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Support existing BI solutions and build new BI solutions with SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS), SQL Server Analytical Services (SSAS), SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS), and SharePoint.
  • Support and enhance existing master customer processes
  • Design and Develop solutions and support the Aspect / Ring Central IVR solutions within the Business Intelligence and Analytics areas
  • Work with Business subject matter experts to understand requirements for the solutions.
  • Conduct peer reviews, provide guidance, suggest & implement best practices and techniques.
  • Adhere to and recommend improvements to project coding standards.
  • Work in a team environment with shared code; disciplined use of source code control (TFS) and process documentation.
  • Help implement long-term strategic goals and short-term tactical plans for managing, maintaining, enhancing and developing BI technology solutions across the enterprise.
  • Research, review, and analyze the effectiveness and efficiency of existing BI solutions and environments and develop strategies for enhancing or further leveraging these processes.
  • Develop routines and procedures for end-users to facilitate best practices use of reporting tools and applications.
  • Performs related duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications and Education Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering or related field is preferred.
  • 8 + years of experience with SQL*Server development tools such as Stored Procedures, SSIS, SSAS, and SSRS
  • 8 +years of experience with RDBMS (MS SQL Server 2012/2016).
  • Current, working knowledge of the .NET Framework, including Visual Studio 2019, C#.NET, ASP.NET, Web Services, experience using API’s, R and Python
  • Working knowledge of Snowflake and AWS preferred
  • Microsoft certifications are a plus.

Skills, Abilities, and Knowledge

  • Experience with a mortgage life cycle - Mortgage Origination and Mortgage Servicing is highly preferred.
  • Aspect / Ring Central IVR M3 & Voice XML Studio experience are a plus.
  • Strong verbal communication skills; strong writing and composition abilities.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to develop and maintain effective relationships across the organization.
  • Strong influencing and negotiation skills; consultative and collaborative work style. 
  • High learning agility with the ability to learn and integrate business variables and learn new systems and platforms.
  • Strong analytical skills & problem-solving abilities; solid decision-making abilities coupled with sound judgment.
  • Effective at managing multiple priorities under tight deadlines in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills
