Caterpillar’s Electric Power Division is seeking a Finance Manager to serve as the financial business partner to the division’s Integrated Services group. This position will lead one finance professional and will support the business with consolidated Services financial and operational metric reporting, analysis/insights into performance, and development/tracking of key growth initiatives. This is a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment where your work will be highly visible at many levels of the company.

What You Will Do:

  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual reports related to the Services business and effectively communicate results to leadership
  • Provide insights on the financial results and operational metrics to assist management with business decisions
  • Development of the annual business plan and quarterly forecasts
  • Perform pricing/margin analysis for large commercial opportunities and monitor usage of sales variance allocation
  • Participate in strategy development and key initiatives
  • Leverage digital tools and analytics to streamline financial analysis and provide enhanced decision support
  • Support ad-hoc analysis, Board and EO presentations, and various other Segment reporting requirements
  • Overseeing and evaluating the activities of the finance staff, and providing guidance for their professional development

What You Have:

  • Education and Experience: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or business-related field and 8+ years of job-related experience
  • Business Acumen: Knowledge of business concepts, tools, and processes that are needed for making sound decisions in the context of the company's business; ability to apply this knowledge appropriately to diverse situations.
  • Managing People: Knowledge of processes involved in managing people; ability to lead successful teams, and diligently address issues related to performance and conflicts at the workplace.
  • Analytical Thinking: Knowledge of techniques and tools that promote effective analysis; ability to determine the root cause of organizational problems and create alternative solutions that resolve these problems.
  • Effective Communications: Understanding of effective communication concepts, tools and techniques; ability to effectively transmit, receive, and accurately interpret ideas, information, and needs through the application of appropriate communication behaviors.

Additional Info:

  • This position will be located in our Irving, TX office
  • This role is a full time, Hybrid position and currently requires 3 days a week in office
  • Domestic relocation assistance is available for those who qualify
  • Sponsorship is not available
  • Domestic travel up to 10%
