The Small Business Product Manager is responsible for managing deposit products, including checking, savings, and pricing. A successful product manager can demonstrate “doer” leadership traits in areas of product delivery, ownership, partnership, problem solving and decision management to think strategically and tactically. The ideal candidate has 5+ years in product management / project manager experience. Retail small business knowledge is a plus.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage small business deposit products and pricing

  • Contribute to product line, roadmap, and go to market strategy

  • Develop and propose product delivery strategies and tradeoffs

  • Lead process engineering efforts that foster simplification, lean systemic process lifecycles, and de-risk

  • Be a subject matter expert for small business products, process, and technical applications

  • Highly self-motivated, effective communication, problem solving and decision management skills, and has the willingness to learn and adapt in an agile and ambiguous environment

  • Ability to drive business results with a strong sense of urgency

Additional responsibilities

  • Manage product approvals, define product requirements, create user stories, define acceptance criteria, oversee testing status, implementation, and post implementation activities

  • Maintain and prioritize product backlog Identify dependencies, risks, and issues that can impact client experience and product value proposition

  • Propose solutions to strength risk and control processes to create long term value and ensures compliance with policy and regulations

  • Develop project plans and identify work breakdown structure across product workstreams

  • Manage product launch and post implementation plans

  • Develop and present senior communication material

  • Partner with stakeholders across the bank, including product, program management, technology, operations, legal, and compliance   

  • Proactive self-learner

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of relevant product and/or project experience

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree/University degree. Master’s degree preferred

Primary Location Full Time Salary Range:

$129,840.00 - $194,760.00
