Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Business Intelligence Manager to lead the planning, forecasting and reporting for all business units within the ANZ Hellofresh group while partnering with several marketing and operations teams with a focus to improve business insights, boost growth & improve profitability.

You will…

  • Collaborate closely with the senior finance leaders across our ANZ business units while managing two direct reports
  • Get exposure to and take the lead on the ongoing development and continued optimisation of all 5 business units across ANZ, from meal kits to logistics to inhouse meal manufacturing
  • Take your understanding of financial and business performance to the next level, having complete transparency on all entities Profit & Loss, business-wide KPI’s (financial & non-financial) and support on strategies to optimise margin and business performance
  • Take ownership of improving, maintaining and scaling both existing and new forecasting and financial simulation tools to monitor and analyse our performance
  • Work directly with our Global Finance BI Team, ideating new data assets, model reliability, data reliability and availability
  • Consult on the data structures and value of new data assets for long term automation, scalability and value add from creating new insights
  • Continually develop the budgeting tool landscape & process for all ANZ business units while partnering with several key stakeholders & analysts
  • Support wider finance team in insight and process automation where high impact benefits are identified
  • Take lead on both automation and complex modelling from concept to roll out. 
  • Take lead on ad-hoc projects & deep dives,  as necessary

You have…

  • A minimum of 4 years of experience working with large data sets, complex models and experience in leading direct reports in an analytical field.
  • Experience in finance or a relevant analytical field with an understanding of operations and/or data driven marketing 
  • Strive under the challenge of trying to continually improve the financial performance through the use of data & analytics
  • Proven track record of working on designing, developing and maintaining various financial and non-financial data sets/models using python, SQL and sophisticated excel/GoogleSheet tools. Exposure to software (or equivalent software) such as Databricks, Workday Adaptive Planning, Tableau etc would be an advantageous
  • An intrinsic determination to solve a problem once it is identified using a scientific or well thought through, logical approach
  • Strong project management skills and are comfortable working with cross-functional stakeholders of all levels of seniority.
  • Ability to multitask, work under pressure, effectively prioritise based on ever changing business needs
  • Strong communication - you can dissect complexities into simple explanations for non-technical experts, ensuring you can share your findings effectively and succinctly

Duration: Full time role. You must have the right to work full-time in Australia
