Position Description

McKesson-Compile we are searching for a Healthcare Data and Technology Project Manager with experience in the healthcare domain who will join our team and help our pharma clients understand the intricacies of the healthcare data landscape. This role is critical to scaling our operational needs and client service focus.

The ideal candidate will bring their experience as a "connector"; collaborating with internal subject matter experts as well as external clients to execute and deliver data and analytics projects. This role will be responsible for guiding our stakeholders towards the right data that suits their business needs. The ideal candidate will be able to leverage their skills and abilities to learn and lead with patience, authority, and respect.

Responsibilities

  • Design, lead, and collaboratively orchestrate client engagements and project plans through the delivery of our analytics results and/or data licenses. 

  • The expectation for this role, in terms of client service, is MID-SR level there will be some time allocated for learning/upskilling

  • Collaborate guiding non-tech stakeholders (clients and internal) through complex decision-making processes either in real-time (workshops) or over a client project.

  • Communicate clearly and manage team members within a project team (above and below your pay-scale) with authority, confidence, and respect 

Minimum Requirements:

  • Typically requires 4+ years of experience of relevant experience

Critical Skills

  • 1 year exp. with US healthcare claims data (medical, pharma, Medicare)

  • 2+ years prior (>2 years) project/program management exposure and training on projects that focus on healthcare AND involve data products or services.  

  • Experience managing multiple (2-3) projects of varying complexity in parallel.  

  • Experience and comfort level creating presentations in collaboration with healthcare subject matter experts (both technical and non-technical stakeholders)  

Additional Experience

  • 1 year of direct experience writing SQL queries OR experience with Python (or R), with some knowledge of SQL 

  • Familiarity with at least one other type of healthcare research and/or data type including:  

    • --EHR 

    • --HEOR

    • --Affiliations 

    • --Payer landscape data 

    • --Public health statistics / survey statistics

  • Experience communicating technical details to non-tech stakeholders 

  • Understanding of business processes and client service 

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field  or equivalent experience

Work Environment/Physical Demands:

  • The position is fully remote 

  • Must have the ability to travel. Domestic overnight and air travel is required, occasional travel to India, and domestic may be needed (<10%)

The pay range shown below is aligned with McKesson's pay philosophy, and pay will always be compliant with any applicable regulations. Our Base Pay Range for this position

$83,300 - $138,900
