Role purpose

The key purpose of the Retail Partnerships Coordinator is to work closely with the Retail Partnerships Manager to develop and implement a retailer engagement program that supports the Vicinity Marketing Strategy, driving improved retailer performance and engagement. The role involves supporting positive retailer engagement and building relationships, managing the retailer database, leveraging Vicinity’s marketing campaigns to support retailer objectives and supporting retailers with their promotional requirements through the collation, distribution and publishing of retailer news, events and offers.

Key Accountabilities

  • Maintain the retailer database for Vicinity Marketing
  • Support with the proactive outreach to key retailers to build and maintain relationships to understand and support their businesses
  • Support the Retail Partnerships Manager to collaborate with the National Campaign team to leverage opportunities for retailer partnerships that deliver value for our consumers
  • Collate, review and publish retailer offers, news and events across our centre’s websites
  • Support in the collation of centre statistics and consumer insights to assist in developing leasing collateral as required
  • Administrative and reporting duties will include and are not limited to preparing reports and presentations, attending meetings, preparing agendas and minutes and compliance training.

Experience & Capabilities

ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE

  • You will have experience in marketing in either retail or shopping centre environments with competency in results driven marketing.
  • You will have a proven capability working with digital platforms in particular CMS and CRM platforms
  • You have demonstrated project management skills
  • You understand the retail landscape and can identify customer segments and sales categories, driven by a good understanding of the local competitive landscape and key customer insights
  • A relevant tertiary qualification is preferred

CRITICAL KNOWLEDGE

  • Understanding of retail trends, consumer behaviour and market dynamics
  • Knowledge of the retail and / or shopping centre industry

CAPABILITIES

  • Excellent time and project management skills
  • Ability to work autonomously, whilst engaging and leveraging broader marketing team
  • Strong at building and maintaining relationships
  • Can work effectively with internal stakeholders to collaborate on key initiatives
