Our Operations Support Team is seeking a motivated, organized, analytical individual with outstanding problem solving skills to join our team in the role of Sr. Advisor Functional Support.

This role will handle Operational Support projects throughout the project life cycle, and act as the liaison between business and TIS for technology related projects to ensure project objectives are achieved. What you will do:

  • Provide day to day incident and problem management support related to several Operations, Asset Management and Integrity applications (including Maximo, ClickTouch, ClickSchedule, GetConnected, CCWS and others as required)

  • Provide functional support for Operations stakeholders / departments as assigned.

  • Provide coaching and training to end users to support end to end systems processes

  • Travel to Operations depots to provide face to face support and build relationships with Stakeholders.

  • Provide support to TIS Operations projects in the form of Design input, Testing, and Post-implementation Support and other duties as assigned.

  • Manage change; work closely with TIS, Technical Training, and OCM to support change management activities for Operations application projects and releases.

  • Provide on-call overnight support for WAMS / Operations applications to ensure the flow of emergency work.

  • Work optimally while building trust with all stakeholders, including internal and external customers, dependent functions, contractors, and internal and external alliance partnerships.

  • Conduct root cause analysis and demonstrate strong problem solving skills in order to identify and quantify impacts or risks to business outcomes.

Who You Are

You will have the following education and experience:

  • University degree with a minimum of seven(7) or more years of directly related experience OR equivalent combination of formal education, certification and experience.

  • Release management and Project management (PMP) experience.

  • Excellent communication, issue/problem resolution, presentation and analytical skills.

  • Ability to establish and maintain good client relationships

Preferred:

  • In depth experience with Operations, TIS and/or Technical training.

  • Broad understanding of Asset systems and business processes.

  • PMP Certified.

Working Conditions:

  • This position typically operates in an office environment.

  • Periodic travel required.

  • Participate in on-call rotation to provide 24/7 support.
