The Measurement Manager is responsible for leading and mentoring a team that is accountable for developing and implementing a customer-focused, data-driven approach to measurement. This role will collaborate with our business partners to ensure efficient process alignment and having highly developed customer service skills is vital!

A Day in the Life: 

As the Manager of Measurement Equipment, you will lead a team of experts in measurement equipment and field processes. You will oversee the enterprise's measurement equipment operations, maintenance processes, and design specifications. Additionally, you will foster a culture of operational discipline and measurement excellence across the organization, collaborating closely with operations and project execution leadership. This role offers opportunities for growth and development, empowering you to drive innovation and excellence in measurement practices.

Responsibilities/Expectations:

  • Holds team accountable for performing all work in accordance with requirements and standards
  • Coordinates workforce planning and career development activities for direct employees
  • Understands the technical issues, operational practices and measurement systems/tools common to the oil & gas industry
  • Establishes and maintains positive, productive, proactive relationships with direct employees, peers, customers and audiences
  • Resolves issues
  • Establishes continuous improvement strategies, opportunities, and execution on improvements
  • Provides a critical link with IT Business Partners, Operations, Accounting, and Commercial
  • Other duties as assigned

Education/Years of Experience:

  • Required: Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, Engineering or a technical field; a minimum of four (4) years’ experience in measurement or quality management
  • Preferred: Master’s Degree; a minimum of six (6) years’ experience in measurement or quality management

Other Requirements:

  • Demonstrates excellent organizational/interpersonal skills and safety as the utmost priority
  • Demonstrates strong negotiation skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications and PC skills
  • Preferred: Previous experience working in or supporting operations and requiring a high degree of teamwork
