As an Industry X Experienced Consultant or Manager, you are a true innovator, a visionaire and problem solver in the field of Engineering and Manufacturing. • People This is an exciting opportunity to join Industry X, where you will become part of a diverse and dynamic team of innovators, visionaries, and problem solvers in the fields of Engineering and Manufacturing. Our Product Engineering and Servicing team partners with clients to imagine and invent their future of their end-to-end Product journey and to design their next-generation R&D. Our Manufacturing and Operations team focuses on where clients can digitize, optimize, and bring digital transformation to the core of their manufacturing processes. 

• Processes As an Experienced Consultant or Manager in Industry X you will work with clients in the domains of engineering and manufacturing. From ideation of new products to industrialization. You are a trusted advisor for your clients, helping them to identify and deliver 360⁰ value across the domains of Industry X and beyond. You advise the client on the end-state of their Smart Factory or R&D processes. You deliver and implement different technologies at the client which will assist their data governance or support the client in optimizing their asset management. Your vision for value starts with the customer journey, extends across the enterprise, and then back again, leading to greater productivity, growth and sustainability. You touch the product lifecycle every step of the way: 

• How products are designed and engineered 

• How products are sourced and supplied 

• How products are manufactured 

• How products are serviced, returned and renewed 

• Technology Industry X is all about fusing new digital technologies such as Digital Twin&Thread, IoT, Cloud, AI and Analytics, Extended Reality Solutions and Robotics together with tested and proven Product- and Application Lifecycle Management solutions or Digital Manufacturing Execution Systems as part of our digital palette. We apply intelligence and advanced digital technologies to connect engineering and manufacturing operations every step of the way and we do so across the various industries of our clients. 

• Data We are using the power of data and digital to help our clients re-imagine the products they make and how they make them. We help clients to apply data insights on efficiency and sustainability which enables them to become truly data driven in the domains of engineering and manufacturing. 

Who we are

Here's what you'll need (we require a motivation letter along with your CV):

• You have a master's or bachelor's degree with a strong affinity for technology, consulting and innovation

• You are passionate about digital transformations and Industry X related solutions

• You are a true team player with great analytical and problem-solving skills and excellent verbal and written communication skills

• You are able to travel to (international) client sites (in compliance with up-to-date travel policies)

• You have 3-10 years of relevant digital transformation experience in one or more Industry X related areas (see below)

• You are fluent in English, both spoken and written

• For profiles leaning on the Manufacturing side, Dutch is also the required language; for profiles leaning on the Engineering side, Dutch is a pre, not a requirement

Bonus points if you have

• Experience in industry relevant software tools for Engineering or Manufacturing from vendors such as SAP, Siemens, Dassault and PTC

• Worked on cutting-edge digital transformation programs to drive product, process & innovation activities at clients in either the Engineering or Manufacturing domain

• Stakeholder management experience in a consulting setting with client counterparts 

• Experience with different project management methods such as Waterfall and Agile
