Job Description

ADE, a subsidiary of Capital A, leverages decades of AirAsia’s engineering expertise to provide top-tier aircraft services. We are looking for a curious and detailed-oriented QA Intern to join our team based out of Sepang. In this role, you will work alongside senior analysts to gain hands-on experience in testing and bug tracking, contributing directly to shipping world-class aviation products.

What you will do

● Execute Test Plans: Run manual test cases based on plans designed by the senior QA team to ensure features work as intended.

● Bug Hunting & Reporting: Identify, record, and document bugs or defects clearly in our tracking systems (e.g., Jira), providing steps to reproduce them for the developers.

● Assist in Test Creation: Help draft simple test scenarios and acceptance criteria based on business requirements.

● Verify Fixes: Retest resolved issues to ensure bugs are fixed and no new issues have been introduced (Regression Testing).

● Collaborate: Participate in daily stand-ups and product review meetings to understand how developers, designers, and product managers work together.

● Continuous Improvement: Provide fresh perspective feedback on user experience (UX) and product workflow efficiency.

● Learn: Actively learn about automation tools and QA methodologies under the mentorship of senior team members.

Who you are Education:

● Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field. (Final year students preferred). Skills & Mindset:

● Detail-Oriented: You have a "hawk-eye" for spotting typos, layout issues, and functional errors.

● Analytical Thinking: You enjoy logic puzzles and understanding how A leads to B.

● Communication: You can describe a technical problem clearly in writing and verbally.

● Curiosity: You are eager to understand how small components fit into the bigger system.

● Team Player: You are humble, ready to ask questions, and willing to learn from others.

Bonus Points (Not required, but nice to have):

● Basic knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) or Agile methodologies.

● Exposure to basic coding (Java, Python, or JavaScript) or interest in learning test automation (Playwright/Selenium).

● Passion for the Aviation/Travel tech industry.
