The Opportunity:
Work with the nation’s leading public health experts supporting CDC’s National Healthcare Safety Network (NHSN) Collaborate with a diverse team of epidemiologists, public health analysts, data analysts, and infection preventionists) The BA/Training Specialist will be responsible for facilitating the process to collect and define client requirements to help define the processes of a training program to meet the needs of a public health surveillance program.
Responsibilities:
Elicit requirements and translate them into training programs that will support end users.
Conduct needs assessment.
Work with subject matter experts to develop course content.
Facilitate annual training program with the ability to support virtual, on site and hybrid events.
Writes scripts for video and audio content.
Conduct training evaluations to ensure ongoing program’s effectiveness.
Interacts and communicates with end-users, client management, vendors and IT Personnel as needed to support training program.
Provides senior management and project management with regular updates on deliverable timelines and project status.
Creates computer-based training modules and storyboards.
Use of good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions to problems; ability to act independently as well as collaboratively when required and comfortable in an environment that requires multi-tasking and managing multiple competing priorities.
Qualifications:
Required:
Demonstrated experience gathering requirements and producing client-ready deliverables.
Experience in public health; preferably at CDC or State Health Department.
Experience using Adobe Campaign. Ability to present complex information to a variety of audience.
Ability to determine training objectives and deliver on them.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong interpersonal skills and desire to work collaboratively.
Strong written and oral communication skills.
Organized and experienced with managing project detail.
Oral and written communication skills.
Management and Leadership Skills.
Demonstrated experience creating end-user documentation (e.g., user guides, process flows, training materials, presentations)
