Key responsibilities for this role include:
Maintain oversight and act as point of escalation for all Supply Chain processes and events related to Canadian Business Units.
Oversee the demand planning process including supporting local demand planners with the demand consensus meetings and forecasting improvement.
Participate in financial meetings to determine financial call and algin the latest demand sales forecast
Oversee the Canadian supply planning process, escalations of product issues
Lead monthly S&OP meetings with the appropriate Business Unit stakeholders.
Oversee relationship with the 3PL provider and adherence to key metrics
Develop and oversee yearly operational budgets for the Canadian market
Measure, communicate and continuously improve KPIs such as forecast accuracy, demand at risk, CSL, Hits and Misses
Effectively work cross-functionally with Canadian and NA leadership and all departments in Canada supporting or touching Supply Chain
The minimum qualifications for this role are:
5+ years experience in a Generic Pharmaceutical or CPG environment in a supply chain/logistics/inventory role
Exceptionally strong leadership abilities
Excellent communication skills
Strong knowledge of vendor management
Over 2 years of experience managing a team
Bachelor’s degree or (equivalent)
Strong understanding of the Canadian pharmaceutical market and regulatory environment
Ability to think strategically / proactively
Ability to work in a team environment
Excellent interpersonal, written, and presentation skills
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
Ability and willingness to travel nationally when required
