Job Description:

We are seeking a Senior Network Engineer to help our customer test and maintain network infrastructure including software and hardware devices and configure and manage a VMware Cluster to support multiple tenant systems. In this role, you will play an integral part in conducting network evaluations, hardware/software installations, and upgrades. Responsibilities include configuring and optimizing network switches, router, and firewalls; configuring Intrusion Detection and Prevention Systems (IDPS); managing application layer filtering on NextGen Firewalls; configuring and troubleshooting virtual networking, VLANs, and virtual routing and forwarding (VRFs); developing and implementing network backup and recovery procedures, and more. Required Qualifications:

  • TS/SCI with polygraph security clearance.
  • Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in computer science, computer engineering, information systems, or related STEM degree and tweleve (12) years of progressively responsible network systems engineering experience. In lieu of a degree, at least fifteen (15) years of experience is required. 
  • Active CISCO certification.
  • Active DoD IAT Level III certification (e.g. CISSP, CCSP, GCIH, GCED, CASP+ CE, CCNP Security, CISA).
  • Experience with Cisco IOS and PAN-OS.
  • Experience with VMware/ESXi.
  • Experience with Switch VLAN setup.
  • Experience with VMware virtual NIC config for isolation.
  • Ability to demonstrate cyber/IT related experience with attention to detail, customer service, oral and written communication, and problem solving.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Understanding of project design within the scope of Risk Management Framework (RMF) requirements.
