The Opportunity:

As a Data Engineering Intern with CACI you will learn from and work with a small, but motivated team developing a SaaS tool exploiting data scraped from the Dark Web.

-          Work with the Data team on a massive data set

-          Work with LLM’s to provide insight from our data for our customers

-          Learn about software project workflows in a collaborative remote environment


Responsibilities:

-          Assist the Data team to update and maintain our data when necessary

-          Work with the Artificial Intelligence team to test and select appropriate models for specific AI functions

-          Participate in the design of updated data structures and pipelines

Qualifications:

Required: 

  • Experience with Python
  • Experience with Elastic Search
  • Experience with AWS
  • Minimum GPA of 3.5 or higher
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.


Desired:

  • Familiar with the dark web
  • Must be pursing a degree in Data Science or related field
  • Previous internship/co-op or other work experience related is preferred but not required

Pay Range: There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. The proposed salary range for this position is:

$35,776 - $69,000
