This person will also be responsible for grooming a world-class team of Product folks and serve as an inspirational leader to counterparts in other parts of the organization.
Your day to day:
Set the vision, product strategy and enable product teams to be fully autonomous in driving their respective areas.
Accountable for setting and achieving objectives and key results across consumer, SMB and Enterprise segments working with Global Markets, Engineering, Finance, Analytics, and other stakeholders for Mexico.
Serve as the single threaded leader for all things MX product. Drive cross functional alignment across other teams and stakeholders. Proactively identify bottle neck processes and resolve it upfront.
Implement and drive processes that help deliver successful product by all team members across the product lifecycle (customer research, planning, implementation, go-to-market, and commercial readiness)
Build deep Market expertise – working with local Mexican Partners, Regulators, key merchants to drive product strategy. Anticipate and understand market trends and build contingencies based on same.
Build an empowered and motivated team and next in line leadership.
What you need to bring:
12-15 years’ product experience in the payments, banking or a related industry. Prior experience with Mexico Fintech space preferred.
3+ year leading and managing product teams (including building 0-1 products, scaling existing products etc.).
Proven leadership and team management skills.
Proven ability to rally teams, foster relationships with cross functional teams and drive alignment with stakeholders at all levels.
Keen ability to thrive in ambiguity and simplify complex situations into simple next steps.
Strong communication skills and ability to influence at all levels
Strong data driven product management skills.
