Job Responsibilities:

Support medium complexity data visualization mapping and setup activities, including size, complexity, type, and number of data sets.
Handle simple to medium data visualization tasks independently or assist senior visualization developers with more complex tasks.
Collaborate with consumers/business users to define data requirements for visualizations.
Translate unstructured business problems into data visualizations.
Profile data to understand provenance, quality, metadata models, ownership, and compliance with internal and external standards.
Map data to support data visualization model generation and medical insights.
Design and test the quality and performance of visualization models in downstream reporting and analytics solutions.
Process requests for compliant access to data.
Define and manage information lifecycle management in data visualization solutions.
Provide data understanding (structure, provenance, quality) to visualization customers for use in medical review projects.
Collaborate with Risk, Assurance, Privacy, Information Security, and Regulatory authorities to ensure data and information controls are in place and adhered to.
Communicate data visualizations clearly and objectively, including their uncertainties and limitations.
Engage in personal development and training in advanced data standards, visualization, mapping techniques, and tools.
Develop domain data expertise (data standards, systems, metadata models, policies, business processes) in one therapeutic area.
Possess good knowledge of the roles and skills of other functions in drug development.

Essential Qualifications:

Bachelors or Higher Degree
Minimum of 3+ years of experience within  a Healthcare, Pharmaceutical company or a CRO is required.
Demonstrated experience in a data visualization using Power BI.
Blend of skills in data requirement analysis, data quality analysis, and data stewardship.
Experience with Agile methods to understand requirements and apply solutions.
Proficiency in using metadata cataloguing tools.
Knowledge of key policies and standards for data, including privacy and security.
Excellent communication skills in both written and spoken English.
Strong collaboration and consultancy skills.
Awareness of end-to-end processes and activities in building and supporting data solutions.
Experience in applying a risk-based methodology to data and information management.

Desirable Qualifications:

Understanding of domain data, including the structure, provenance, and meaning of source data crucial to the clinical domain.
Knowledge of business processes involved in the generation and consumption of data.
Experience working in multi-skilled, multi-location data teams, adhering to agile principles.
Background in life sciences and healthcare.
Experience in a complex global organization.
