Summary of Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Governance Manager with a strong background in Supply Chain. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in data quality management and will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy, consistency, and reliability of data across our organization. This role is crucial for maintaining the integrity of data used in critical decision-making processes that involves Supplier & Material Master Data.

Essential Responsibilities include:

Lead Data Clean-Up Projects:

 - Support transformation program

  • Manage and execute data clean-up projects to ensure Supply Chain data accuracy.

  • Develop and implement strategies for ongoing data maintenance and validation.

Define Processes and Technology Improvements:

 - Develop and implement data governance frameworks and policies to ensure the integrity, security, and availability of data.

 - Oversee the management of data quality issues, including identification, root cause analysis, and resolution of data discrepancies.

 - Monitor and enforce data governance policies to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, particularly within the supply chain domain.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

 - Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data analysts, engineers, and business stakeholders, to establish data quality standards and guidelines.

 - Work closely with IT and data management teams to ensure that data is accurately captured, stored, and utilized.

 - Conduct regular data quality assessments and audits to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.

- Facilitate communication and coordination between teams to drive accountability and ensure data governance standards are upheld

- Drive cultural change, ensuring data governance initiatives and best practices are understood and adopted across front-line teams.

 - Keep up to date with industry trends and emerging technologies in data governance and quality management.

- Stay up to date with emerging technologies and industry trends to identify opportunities for improving data management practices and enhancing data-driven decision-making processes.

Reporting and Analytics:

-Establish metrics for measuring the effectiveness of data governance initiatives/projects and regularly report on progress to senior stakeholders.

-Develop dashboards and reports to monitor impact of data governance initiatives and the state of Supply Chain data quality.

Required Qualifications:

  • 9 to 12 years of experience in data governance, data quality management, or a related field.

  • Strong understanding of Supply Chain Master Data: Supplier & Materials

  • Hands-on experience with data governance tools and frameworks.

  • Proficiency in data quality tools and techniques, with a track record of improving data accuracy and consistency.

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex data issues.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels.

  • Familiarity with regulatory requirements related to data governance in the manufacturing preferably semiconductor industry.

  • People Manager experience for 6+years

  • Experience in SAP MDG, PowerBI , Data Governance tools like Collibra, etc
