Central Maine Healthcare is seeking a Greeter to join our team!

This is a per diem position. ​

Starting pay is $18 per hour.


The Greeter/Concierge Associate is one of the key first impression points for any individual who is new to Central Maine Healthcare. The Greeter/Concierge Associate may work in several types of locations on Central Maine Healthcare premises. They are often one of the first points of contact in the facility and may be asked to fulfill various requests for a patient, visitor, or customer. The General Responsibilities for the Greeter/Concierge Associate position include the following but may identify other responsibilities that the position can fulfill. Responsibilities can vary among accounts, depending on business necessities and Central Maine Healthcare requirements.

Education and Experience:

  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.

Essential Duties:

  • Acts as a source of Central Maine Healthcare knowledge for employees, customers, patients, and family members/visitors who seek information, directions, guidance, and assistance when on the premises
  • Ensures patients, visitors, vendors, and team members adhere to COVID-19-established CMHC protocols. (masking, and hand hygiene)
  • Responsible for providing Concierge/Hospitality Services to patients, visitors, and guests.
  • Uphold and prioritize all Central Maine Healthcare programs and processes regarding facility, patient, and visitor safety
  • Participates in regularly scheduled team meetings, training sessions, management and safety huddles, and other appointments as deemed necessary by Central Maine Healthcare leadership.
  • Follow and uphold HIPAA-applicable rules and processes to protect and secure Protected Health Information (PHI)
