About the Role

Lead on projects or initiatives to develop and evolve the Life strategy of AIA and its business units. Manage resources, shape results, and handle internal parties.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Identify and assess potential new value pools in the Life domain, through high-quality analysis, insights, and recommendations
  • Formulate strategies aligned to long-term strategic priorities for Life domain
  • Lead analysis and prioritization of activity and investment
  • Build of business scenarios required to rationalize new Life initiatives and strategies
  • Lead projects and select activities in Life strategy formulation, commercial due diligence for transactions, partnerships or new ventures
  • Work alongside senior leaders in the strategy team in the development of strategic narratives and presentations
  • Provide SME support to Strategy Delivery team on specific projects
  • Development of market intelligence in Life space

Minimum Job Requirements:

  • Undergraduate and Masters in Corporate Finance, Business Administration or similar field preferred.      
  • 10+ years experience in business strategy at Engagement Manager level from top management consultancy firm or financial services
  • Track record of leading successful project delivery and realizing business impact
  • Extensive subject matter expertise across the Life value chain (including insurance) gained through multi-year experience at leading industry players or top / specialist management consultancy
  • Strong numerical capabilities combined with strong commercial foresight.
  • Ability to structure clear and compelling communications for senior executive audiences
