The Opportunity:

  • Work as part of an integrated team to lead growth and change for the C100TO.1 Strategic Transformation Division at Norfolk Naval Shipyard (NNSY).

  • Develop and lead future state business process improvements. Provide leadership in planning, designing, and implementing strategic business objectives in alignment with our customers’ vision.  

  • Lead as-is assessments of internal and external organizational engagement practices, interpret data analysis to guide decision making, research best practices, map processes, and develop/recommend alternative solutions for improvement.

  • Optimize your proficiency in the preparation, selection, organization, and presentation of information in a concise and coherent manner.

  • Foster an open exchange of ideas and best management practices, build business acumen and relationships, and enhance the professional knowledge, skills, and abilities at all levels of the Command.

  • Work site is primarily on the customer site; on occasion at the CACI site or home site (with prior arrangements). 

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen with an active DOD Secret security clearance. 

This position is contingent on funding and may not be filled immediately. The job posting is to source a candidate pool to fill the position if/when it is funded.
 


Responsibilities:

  • Advise senior leadership on innovative strategies and industry best practices and methods, to improve processes and drive transformational change in alignment with organizational goals.

  • Analyze business and technical processes to formulate new and modified business processes and workflows that optimize performance and improve organizational outcomes.  

  • Lead planning, execution, and close-out actions for routine meetings, cross-functional off-site meetings, teleconferences, and Strategic Planning Sessions. Schedule and facilitate meetings and provide strategic advice and operational context to stakeholders.

  • Operate and manage a War Room and corresponding reference materials/displays for collaboration and coordination on strategic plans.

  • Draft and review statements of work, white papers, and other routine correspondence. Provide input and guidance on briefing materials for program manager briefings and presentations.

  • Support the execution of contract requirements, which may include submission of supporting data and metrics and timely completion of written reports to stakeholders, customers, and CACI leadership.

  • Other duties as assigned.


Qualifications:

Required: 

  • Bachelor’s degree and a minimum 5 years of strategic consulting experience in business transformation, business development, or similar. 

  • Executive Presence: Ability to negotiate, facilitate, and influence business decisions in collaboration with senior leaders of the NAVSEA organization.

  • Experience driving large, complex process improvement, process intelligence and designing to-be processes.

  • Strong customer service orientation and written/verbal communication skills with the ability to respectfully engage internal and external customers at all levels in a manner that achieves successful outcomes.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and time management, and ability to prioritize multiple concurrent projects and tasks efficiently.



Desired:

  • Training, certification, and/or experience in Agile, Lean, Six Sigma, Shingo, or Theory of Constraints
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
  • Work experience with the Naval Maintenance Community, the US Navy, or the Department of Defense.

Pay Range: There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. The proposed salary range for this position is:

$74,600-$156,700
