PURPOSE AND SCOPE:

Supervise the Talent Acquisition (TA) Coordinator team that is responsible for supporting our Recruiters and Candidates in the recruitment and hiring process. Supervisor is responsible for ensuring processes and controls support compliant, accurate, efficient processes with a high level of customer service. Plays a key role in project implementations, issue resolution, solution development, and refinement of standard operating procedures for functions within Talent Acquisition.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manage the tactical execution of short- and long-term process improvement objectives, with a direct responsibility for results, including costs, methods, and staffing or vendor management.
  • Provide leadership, coaching and development plans for all direct reports to maintain an engaged and productive workforce; partner with Human Resources on employee relations issues.
  • Partner with direct Supervisor to identify areas of process and practice improvement, and related policy changes
  • Ensure a compliant hiring process that supports the complex and changing needs and volume of the business through appropriate internal partnership
  • Utilize partner relationships to resolve system issues and implement changes that support operational or policy changes
  • Act as liaison with the with direct Supervisor and TA Excellence team to support system integration updates and related process changes 
  • Maintain knowledge and understanding of leading best practices to adequately evaluate program performance and provide recommendations for process and/ company policy updates as needed 
  • Ensure compliance with various laws including ADA, EEO, and complex background screen requirements for multiple locations.
  • Serve as point of escalation and provide resolution for in-depth situations and cases, providing situational and data analysis as needed to ensure process and SLAs are being followed.
  • Provide leadership in a multi-faceted environment, supporting multiple business units in driving the tactical execution of a compliant and timely hiring process 
  • Collaborate with direct Supervisor and TA Excellence team to create, update and maintain SOPs and appropriate training material for internal operation and external stakeholder support/education
  • Interpret and recommend changes to policies and established procedures that effect immediate needs of the organization(s)
  • Adhere to, and ensure, EEO compliant activities throughout FMCNA
  • Collaborate and lead projects/reports related to ongoing TA Operations initiatives, occasionally participating and presenting at meetings with internal representatives
  • Provide technical guidance
  • Other duties and projects as assigned

EDUCATION:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, HR Management or related field preferred

EXPERIENCE AND REQUIRED SKILLS:

  • 3-5 years related experience including the knowledge and application of HR related state and federal regulations/legal requirements.
  • 2+ years supervisory or project/program management experience preferred with demonstrated ability to provide guidance, direction, coaching and indirect leadership.
  • Ability to manage ongoing workload demands of both planned and unplanned projects and requests.
  • Demonstrated ability to provide guidance, direction, coaching and indirect leadership.
  • Must be able to maintain strict confidentiality in dealing with all documents, files and communications
  • Expert skills within the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and experience with Applicant Tracking systems (Workday a plus).
  • Proven organizational, critical thinking and administrative skills with keen attention to detail
  • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
