Team Manager, Operations Customer Service & Support

The Team Manager is responsible for managing a high-performance team that provides technical support for Thomson Reuters Legal products.

About the role

In this opportunity as Team Manager, you will:

  • Supervising, coaching, motivating and encouraging direct reports through consistent contact, meetings, recorded call evaluations and monitoring of productivity and overall performance 
  • Handling all day-to-day supervisory duties, including scheduling issues, timesheets, goal-setting and performance reviews
  • Participating in department special projects, including recruiting, operational processes, staff training, special events 
  • Encouraging new ideas, championing innovation and driving efficiency 
  • Tracking, reporting, and managing towards key performance indicators of customer satisfaction 

About you

You're fit for the Team Manager if you background includes:

  • Excellent work ethic, outstanding initiative and a flexible, proactive approach 
  • Strong collaboration, teamwork, and relationship building skills across multiple levels and functions within the organization 
  • A minimum of four years of relevant work experience in call center/technical support environment 
  • Attention to detail, outstanding work habits, enthusiasm and a consistently positive outlook in your daily work  
  • Experience supervising employees and building successful work relationships is a significant plus 
  • Bachelor’s degree required  
  • Strong technical skills. Demonstrated knowledge of Microsoft applications and web-based applications
  • Knowledge of business and industry, systems and processes is an advantage but not required
  • Willing to work in the night shift
