The Enterprise Technology Services (ETS) organization supports UMB’s Information Technology environment.  ETS partners with lines of business to deliver executable business solutions and provides support from customer-facing applications to hardware and servers.

As an Executive Assistant, you will provide administrative support for our Executive IT Leadership team including senior IT managers.  This role will involve highly complex and confidential tasks and projects which often requires interfacing with internal and external contacts requiring considerable initiative, discretion, and sense of urgency.  This is a subset of the overall responsibilities which will include multiple initiatives as assigned by IT leadership. 

This role is hybrid (Tue through Thu on-site) at the UMB Tech Center located in downtown Kansas City, MO.

How you’ll spend your time:

  • Organize and plan meetings and maintain follow-up systems.
  • Will have regular contact with clients, suppliers, or company employees outside the immediate work area to exchange information.
  • Handle confidential information and documents.
  • Manage calendar and assist in scheduling appointments and meetings.
  • Arranges travel, itinerary, and events.
  • Create expense reports.
  • Answers phones, greets, and directs visitors.
  • Order supplies for the department.
  • Generate and proofread presentations.
  • Create and maintain spreadsheets.

We’re excited to talk with you if:

  • You have a High School education or equivalent.
  • You have at least 4 years of relevant work experience in an administrative capacity.
  • You have demonstrated strong time management to effectively prioritize assignments, multiple calendars, and deadlines.
  • You have advanced proficiency with Outlook, and proficiency in other Office Suite products such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Bonus Points If:

  • You have previously supported senior-level management leaders.
  • You have experience with Visio.
  • You have banking or financial industry experience.

Compensation Range:

Minimum: $44,790.00 - Maximum: $103,820.00

The posted compensation range on this listing represents UMB’s standard for this role, but the actual compensation may vary by geographic location, experience level, and other job-related factors.
