Global Insurance Compliance is seeking a Compliance Director on its Global Sales, Digital Marketing and US Marketing team.  The Compliance Director will be responsible for a full range of compliance matters and work closely with the CCO of Global Digital Marketing and US Marketing as well as the Global Sales Practices Center of Excellence leader. 

The current employee work arrangement for this position is Remote or Hybrid and requires your on-site presence on a reoccurring basis as determined by your manager. If fully remote, there will be mandatory travel to our Newark office on an as-needed basis. If Hybrid (located in the Newark area) your manager will provide additional details relative to the specific number of days you are expected to be on-site.

What you can expect:

The Compliance Director’s work will include the following:

  • Developing, maintaining and effectively administering a compliance monitoring program which includes key risk indicators, dashboards, alerts and regular reporting.
  • Cultivating relationships across Global Insurance Compliance, Law and Business groups to clarify applicable regulatory requirements and advising on process and controls in the marketing and distribution of products and solutions offered to consumers.
  • Building and maintaining relationships that promote line of business adoption of Global Marketing, Digital Marketing and Sales Practices programs.
  • Promoting Prudential’s Compliance Risk Management Framework by partnering with Center of Excellence stakeholders to evolve global programs, policies, and requirements to support governance framework.
  • Supporting the department design and infrastructure framework to ensure long term sustainability.

What you will bring:

  • 5+ years consulting monitoring compliance program frameworks in the financial services industry
  • Demonstrated an ability to grow within an organization, adapt and learn quickly and will be a results-oriented individual who can translate plans into actions, and have a strong moral compass.
  • The candidate will possess a unique combination of skills including:
    • Comfortable working with executive stakeholders to provide advice and guidance.
    • Proven track record of creating standards and requirements.
    • Knowledge of compliance craft including risk measurement and assessment, monitoring, testing and working within a risk framework

  • Experience in at least one of the set apart knowledge categories listed below.

What will set you apart:

  • Experience or knowledge of global digital marketing and marketing rules/regulations.
  • Knowledge of marketing requirements related to Communications, Dialing, Texting, Email Communications.
  • TCPA and CAN SPAM laws
  • Registered product/Insurance product marketing rules and guidelines
  • Knowledge of Sales Practices standards
  • Familiarity with agile frameworks and methodologies
  • Proven administration within a global compliance program
  • Practical FINRA knowledge

The salary range for this role is from $122,500.00 to $165,700.00. Specific pricing for the role may vary within the above range based on many factors including geographic location, candidate experience, and skills. Roles may also be eligible for additional compensation and/or benefits. Eligibility to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program is subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance. In addition, employees are eligible for standard benefits package including paid time off, medical, dental and retirement.
