Business Architecture and Transformation Leader

Description -

This role is responsible for overseeing extensive and intricate services segment management operations, both internally and externally. The role leads process enhancement, manages stakeholder interactions, and ensures strategic alignment across the organization. The role directs the overall performance of service products, solutions, technologies, and business segments, while tracking business metrics. The role also takes charge of team leadership, risk mitigation, and the implementation of corporate strategies, while contributing to talent management and development.

This leader will oversee the stand-up and ongoing operations of the Transformation Management Office including overall transformation master planning, initiative structuring and mobilization, execution tracking, implementation planning including the Management of Change, ongoing program communications, and governance.

The Transformation Office Leader will collaborate closely with all Initiative and sub-initiative leaders, other transformation functions, and extended teams across HPS and HP in general.  


Responsibilities

  • Executive Advice: Provide direct support to the business and transformation leadership on opportunities and risks. 

  • Transformation Master Planning: Build and facilitate the planning process including both results/outcome planning and associated financial planning on an annual basis aligned to long-term planning and on a quarterly basis as priorities shift.  Ensure plans are aligned to priorities and targeted outcomes, consistently across all programs.  Host a team of planners and project management support resources to assist initiative and sub-initiative leaders to execute consistent Program and Project Management processes.

  • Transformation Execution: Stay close to all programs, ensuring they are staying on track and that any key decisions are raised quickly and tracked accordingly. 

  • Transformation Leadership: Lead, inspire, mentor, and motivate the broader teams to manage change across the organization, with timely communication and streamlining of the processes and artifacts through a culture of collaboration.  

  • Metrics & Performance Tracking: Define/monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) or OKRs to measure success of transformation efforts, track progress, report on key metrics, working closely with the Transformation data/tools team.

  • Change Management: Lead organizational change initiatives, with a deep understanding of how to manage the human side of change. Use multiple MOC strategies and techniques to ensure we understand the personas impacted by our transformation and proactively engage them, include them, and communicate constantly with them throughout the process. 

  • Communication: Develop and implement communication strategies to keep stakeholders informed and facilitate communication and collaboration across all teams involved. Tell the transformation story in multiple ways in multiple mediums to ensure it is heard.

  • Program Risk Management: Assess and mitigate risks to ensure program success.  Assist program leaders in self-correcting their programs or assist when help is required.



Education & Experience Recommended

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in project/program management, strategic planning, or a related role.

  • Proven experience in supporting large-scale transformation projects.

  • Track record of building and managing high performance teams

  • Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex problems, identify opportunities, and develop effective solutions.

  • Excellent transformation and program management skills, with the ability to manage multiple programs and projects simultaneously while continuously measuring and driving for results.

  • Strong understanding of program and project management methodologies and tools (e.g., Agile, Scrum, PMP). Professional certifications (e.g., PMP, Agile, Scrum, PRINCE2, Six Sigma, Prosci) preferred.

  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

  • Lead a global multi-disciplinary team of planners, change leads, analysts, and internal consultants.

  • Ability to influence stakeholders at all levels and build consensus across the organization to make things happen in a complex, highly matrixed, global company.

  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.

  • Passion for solving customer problems.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

  • Strong leadership skills – motivating, coaching, supporting teams in a global hybrid environment.

  • Executive presence and strong communication skills; ability to influence CXOs internally and externally; ability to build consensus across the organization to make things happen.

The base pay range for this role is $183,650 to $293,800 annually with additional opportunities for pay in the form of bonus and/or equity (applies to US candidates only).  Pay varies by work location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
