Technical Project Manager - Software
The expanding Electronics Group at SharkNinja (creator of the familiar household brands Shark® and Ninja®) is seeking a talented Software Project Manager to join our dynamic team to own delivery of quality, on-time software releases across multiple product lines.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain software release schedules to meet project milestones, with clear requirements freezes and readiness date targets.
- Verify SW documentation is clear/concise (e.g., controls and user interface flows), reviewed with great technical detail to ensure they meet product requirements.
- Monitor project progress and scope daily, identify potential risks, and implement mitigation strategies to ensure successful releases (e.g., Scrum, Agile methodologies)
- Identify scope change and facilitate trade off conversations needed to ensure the cross-functional team alignment
- communicate with global cross-functional teams, providing status updates in a clear format at regular intervals (e.g., weekly update emails, Executive Review slides)
- Manage software verification/validation of internal and supplier releases, clearly separating requirements gaps from bugs in JIRA root-cause-analysis. Lead software schedule development.

Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 3+ years of proven experience as a Software Project Manager.
- 7+ years in the consumer products industry preferred.
- Strong understanding of software development life cycle and Agile methodologies.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with diverse teams and product lines.
- Proficiency in software project management tools (e.g., Atlassian JIRA, Microsoft Project). Past experience tracking and communicating EVM (Earned Value Management)
- PMP or Scrum Master certification is a plus.
