Summary

We are currently looking for a Buyer 1 to join our team in Aguascalientes. Nissan is looking for an individual with the knowledge, skills, and abilities needed to have a positive and lasting impact on our Indirect M&E Purchasing team. We are seeking a highly motivated professional to lead purchasing initiatives.

A Day in the Life:   

• Manage M&E vendor relationships to ensure optimal performance, timely delivery, and effective dispute resolution.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align sourcing strategies with operational goals, performance metrics, and sourcing strategies.
• Facilitate clear and timely communication between internal stakeholders and external suppliers to maintain transparency and efficiency.
• Lead end-to-end purchasing activities, including acquisition planning, bid analysis, supplier evaluation, negotiations, and contract execution.
• Review and negotiate contracts to ensure compliance, mitigate risk, and establish clear service-level expectations.
• Apply working knowledge purchasing protocols, and industry best practices to optimize procurement processes.
• Ensure confidentiality of sensitive business information and maintain compliance with internal policies and external regulations.

Who We’re Looking for:

Required:

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial, Mechanical, Electrical, Administration.
• 1- 3 years of related experience in a professional business atmosphere. 
• Knowledge in Manufacturing processes, Cost Estimation, Benchmark, Supervision of Professional Services, Supplier Negotiation, Coordination with suppliers and internal Users.
• Language: Upper Intermediate - Advanced
• Travel availability to MEX and USA (2 – 3 times per year)
