Job Summary
• This role is responsible for driving the success of software products by envisioning, strategizing, and executing on product development initiatives. The role shapes the direction of essential business applications and tools, ensuring their optimal performance. The role involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams, translating user needs into actionable requirements, and overseeing the end-to-end product lifecycle.

Responsibilities
• Leads the development of detailed business requirements to create comprehensive product specifications and designs.
• Coordinates collaborative efforts with both internal and external software teams, driving the roadmap for various software deliverables.
• Translates user requirements into executable and workable feature items with the software engineering team.
• Transforms functional plans into operational processes and guides execution.
• Provides leadership to individual contributors on the software team, while collaborating with other managers to guide feature development and prioritization.
• Orchestrates product launches with coordination across PR, executives, and fellow product management team members.
• Tracks and reports key metrics to drive future product developments.
• Provides guidance for junior team members on product management strategies.
• Holds thorough understanding of the overall market, competitors, and open source technologies.
• Performs talent management responsibilities including recruitment, performance management, coaching and career development.

Education & Experience Recommended
• Four-year or Graduate Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or any other related discipline or commensurate work experience or demonstrated competence.
• Typically has 7-10 years of job-related experience or 5-7 years of management experience, preferably in product management, digital or software product development, or a related field.
