OVERVIEW:
The Director, Corporate Financial Planning & Analysis, Transformation Office – Finance will play a crucial role in managing the Corporate Forecast / Budget as well as managing the key Strategic Initiatives in the Transformation Office. This position will lead the Corporate Forecasting / Budgeting process and partner with the Transformation Office team to incorporate the Strategic Initiatives into the broader company financials. The role requires excellent leadership skills, strong financial acumen, and the ability to collaborate effectively. The Director, Corporate Financial Planning & Analysis, Transformation Office – Finance must be able to translate business strategies into financial results and manage the high number of strategies coming through the Transformation Office.
Corporate Forecasting and FP&A Support for Smaller Areas of Business:
Lead the corporate forecast process incorporating inputs across the finance department on a weekly basis
Coordinate the presentations to executive leadership inclusive of weekly dashboards as well as Monthly Business Reviews
Prepare material to support the Investor Relations process as well as financial updates for the Board of Directors
Manage the FP&A support for areas without dedicated FP&A support (i.e., Legal, Facilities, AD Starr, etc.)
Corporate Long Term Model and Budgeting:
Manage the overall Budgeting process including Target setting, program management, executive alignment, and production of presentation materials
Manage the long term model to incorporate all Strategic Initiatives to provide a clear view into the long term financial outlook of the company for use of corporate decision making, rating agency models, Board of Director updates and to feed M&A models
Financial Leader of the Transformation Office
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align on measured metrics and their translations into financial goals
Establish clear accountability frameworks and performance metrics for transformational initiatives
Track ongoing financial impact across overall Power Play program
Review and sign off on business cases for initiatives
Manage funding requests (e.g., document, share)
QUALIFICATIONS:
Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; a Master’s degree or MBA is preferred.
Relevant Experience: 7-10 years of progressive experience in financial planning and analysis, corporate finance, or related roles, preferably within a large, publicly traded Fortune 500 organization.
Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams, influence stakeholders at all levels, and drive organizational change.
Strong Financial Acumen: Deep understanding of financial modeling, budgeting processes, and corporate forecasting, with a track record of translating complex data into actionable insights. Strong ability to develop return on investment business cases, factoring in cross functional investments and measurable returns.
Strategic Thinking: Experience in managing strategic initiatives, with the ability to integrate these into corporate financial plans and present findings to executive leadership.
Analytical Skills: Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret financial data and make data-driven decisions.
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of presenting complex financial concepts in a clear and concise manner to diverse audiences, including the Board of Directors and investors.
Project Management: Strong project management skills, with experience in managing multiple initiatives simultaneously and delivering results within tight timelines.
Collaborative Approach: Ability to work collaboratively across departments, fostering strong relationships to ensure alignment on financial goals and metrics.
Technological Proficiency: Proficiency in financial software and tools (e.g., Excel, Financial Planning systems) as well as experience with data visualization tools to enhance reporting and presentation of financial data.
