The role 

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced and motivated Mechanic/Heavy Diesel Fitter to join our busy Kenwick Workshop. We are open to considering Mechanics/Fitters from all industries who are ready to contribute to our dynamic team. 

As a Service Technician, your primary responsibilities will include performing Pre delivery (Equipment preparations) inspections, preventative maintenance, and repairs on a range of mining equipment and subcomponents. You will report to the Workshop Supervisor and work in a fast-paced, challenging environment.  

Key tasks include: 

  • Delivery of brand-new machinery to customers across Australia. 

  • Complete machine rebuilds. 

  • Component rebuilds. 

  • Supporting the latest technologies, such as autonomous machinery, battery-electric systems, and remote monitoring equipment. 

 

Your profile 

  •  Relevant Trade Qualification (desired) 

  • Previous experience working on a variety of mining equipment (Sandvik equipment would be an advantage) 

  • Excellent communication skills 

  • Good attitude with a strong work ethic and focus on safety
