Job Summary:

The Senior HR Business Partner works with all levels in the organization and successfully partners with our managers and leadership team to help implement the people strategy needed for business success.  As the key point of contact for our muti-site Colorado Springs manufacturing facility, as well as to the Business Unit Leadership Team, this role ensures we deliver on day-to-day HR Activities, as well as customer-centric HR consultation and business partnering for employees and leaders.  The Senior HR Business Partner is hands-on and responsible for all facets of an employee’s lifecycle. 

Responsibilities:

  • Build organizational capability to support business priorities with strong employee relations and business partnering focus (15%)
  • Own and drive local recruitment efforts for hourly workers by maintaining effective relationships with local staffing organizations. Collaborate with corporate HR teams in the areas of talent acquisition, total rewards, and HR Technology to drive desired results (25%)
  • Drive, recommend, and at times manage creative strategies to address retention, employee engagement and leadership development (15%)
  • Own the employee lifecycle, including new employee onboarding, induction, ongoing performance management, and exit processes (15)
  • Ensure compliance to internal and external regulations and internal audit requirements (10%)
  • Support and participate in ongoing global HR projects, processes, and programs (20%)

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 12+ years of progressive HR experience in a high speed, high growth environment; BA/BS in related field; MA/MBA is a plus.
  • Excellent knowledge of state and federal labor laws
  • HR Certification is a plus
  • Deep experience in data analysis and process improvement
  • Must have strong recruitment capabilities ideally in a manufacturing environment (semiconductor preferred)
  • Preferred experience working for a multinational/global organization
  • Must be able to work flexible hours as needed to support a multi-shift manufacturing environment
  • Impeccable judgment and ability to balance the needs of the company, managers and employees
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing
  • Ability to work well independently and proactively, not afraid to roll up their sleeves and get involved in all aspects of the role - no job too big or too small
  • Demonstrated ability to build strong relationships across multiple levels and disciplines in the organization
  • Strong focus on execution and high-quality output with strong attention to detail

A reasonable estimate of the pay range for this position is $91,000 - $110,000.  There are several factors taken into consideration in determining base salary, including but not limited to: job-related qualifications, skills, education and experience, as well as job location and the value of other elements of an employee’s total compensation package.
