Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems is looking for an IFC (Integrated Functional Capacity) LEAD in Melbourne, FL.

The selected candidate will lead teams in performing technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, and successful integration of work products from multiple IPT teams into a cohesive capability verification process and plan. This work includes coordinating with stakeholders both inside and outside the systems engineering organization, the creation of process and tools to facilitate automated data flows, the auditing of current Systems Engineering processes and organizational constructs to ensure correct data outputs from system Responsible Engineers to satisfy Verification Methods in the Capability Verification Plan, and the mobilization of the Architecture, Requirements and Validation, and Cross Segment Integration teams within the Systems Engineering IPT to accomplish those objectives.

IFC LEAD responsibilities include managing project cost and schedule, coordinating with internal and external stakeholders to meet project expectations, assigning tasking to team members, managing the strategic execution with other IPTs for capability verification, and fostering the growth of a team of highly skilled engineers. Candidate should have strong problem solving and communication skills, be highly motivated, and ability to work with a team in a highly dynamic fast-paced environment. This role will be programmatically responsible for managing engineers to bring about successful program outcomes.

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Science degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) discipline from an accredited university and at least 11 years of related experience; or a Master of science degree in STEM discipline from an accredited university and at least 9 years of related experience.

• Understanding and utilization of Models Based Systems Engineering tools and datasets to support program organization and objectives

• Understanding of Agile Development

• Understanding of Requirements and Verification processes

• Understanding of processes and methodologies utilized in Systems Engineering, Agile Software Development, Lab Integration and Test, and System/Flight Test

• Your ability to transfer and maintain the final adjudicated government Top Secret clearance, and any program access(es) required for the position within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the company.

• High level of comfort in tools such as Jira and others from Atlassian.

Preferred Qualifications:

• MS in STEM degree

• 10+ Years experience

• Demonstrated experience leading large program teams of mixed disciplines

• Demonstrated experience leading diverse technical teams to a product endpoint or program milestone

• Demonstrated experience successfully working between several large program teams to bring about successful program outcomes through strategic initiatives

• Demonstrated experience successfully improving program processes and procedures

• Demonstrated experience building collaborative customer relationships that have resulted in improved program efficiencies to deliver capability

• Demonstrated  Atlassian administration experience from a user level not application level

• Demonstrated Experience in Agile development, Agile Release Train, Product Owner or Scrum master experience preferred.

Salary Range: $147,700.00 - $221,500.00

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
