Salary Range: $90,000-$120,000 OTE 

The Opportunity

The Associate Director, Client Services, East Coast will be responsible for establishing a standard of customer service, media strategy, and campaign execution across both programmatic and direct IO channels to support the generation of and ensure actualization of revenue.

The right candidate will be able to ensure that streamlined processes are followed, and their teams are operating at a high level and continuously trained to meet the needs of the business.

The Client Services team serves as the main point of contact for all client-facing relationships during the post-sale process. This role is a key contributor, providing white glove service through campaign management, building client rapport, and ensuring client retention and growth through incremental and upsell opportunities.  In addition to client communication, this person is the liaison between departments to manage end-to-end execution and works harmoniously with sales on a shared book of business to drive brand strategy. 

The Client Services Team is responsible for the end-to-end execution of direct and programmatic buys from education and strategic recommendations to post-campaign insights. The team is fast-paced, quickly growing, and performance-oriented.

The Daily To-Do

  • Manage, train, and support a group of post-sales Client Service Managers & Associate Managers
  • Deep understanding of our products, offerings, and best practices to support campaign strategy and meet client objectives
  • Support client services managers in their day-to-day relationships and all phases of the direct and programmatic campaign life cycle, inclusive of brand strategy, kick-off calls, tag + asset collection, creative development, performance reporting, troubleshooting, and delivery
  • Set a gold standard for client service and propel the team to work towards fast timelines, deep data analysis, and thoughtful incremental strategy
  • Obsess over client KPIs and ensure campaign performance meets objectives to drive client satisfaction and generate renewals
  • Establish a deep understanding of Kargo’s offering to guide positioning across diverse verticals (i.e. Retail, QSR, CPG, etc.)
  • Funnel demand-side needs or revenue blockers to internal teams to ensure Kargo is well-positioned to grow and retain business
  • Collaborate with internal cross-functional teams in Sales, Operations, Design, Product, and Finance to highlight opportunities for process improvements
  • Work with Regional Sales Leads to ensure alignment with Sellers on R&R between teams

Qualifications 

  • 7+ years in media/adtech industry working in direct/programmatic 
  • 3+ years of experience managing a team 
  • Global experience is preferred 
  • Excellent communication skills, and proven ability to establish, grow and maintain relationships.
  • Highly strategic, proactive and solution-oriented
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to deliver well-positioned presentations
  • Has a clear understanding of ad servers (DFA, DFP), 3rd party tags and tracking methodology (Celtra, Moat, DV, IAS), programmatic buying between DSPs and SSPs
  • Proven ability to drive delivery of a multi-million dollar business
  • Process-oriented attitude to business delivery
  • Comfortable juggling multiple tasks; ability to prioritize responsibilities; excellent time management; ability to work under tight deadlines and under pressure
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
