Ameresco has a current opening for a Sr. Project Manager located in London, Ontario Canada.
Responsibilities:
- Provide daily administrative and financial management of renewable energy and energy retrofit projects undertaken by Ameresco;
- Coordinate, interact, and communicate with client, regional director, construction manager, and project personnel to ensure expectations, project deliverables, timelines, and revenue targets are met;
- Manage project expenditures and job cost accounting processes: including accuracy, documentation, approvals, payment reporting, monthly forecasting and tracking;
- Ensure compliance with Company’s financial policies and procedures to include revenue recognition policies and project set up rules. Serve and assist as a liaison between the business office and operations;
- Interface with Ameresco customers managing customer service, relationships and contractual obligations;
- Regularly monitor assigned project performance and cost estimates to forecast estimates through to project completion for reasonableness against plans and actual expense rate;
- Assist in the preparation of design packages for tender, and administration of the tendering process;
- Review subcontractor and vendor bids solicited by the team to help determine scope, schedule, timely delivery for all project related materials, equipment and construction services;
- Assist with the post-tender process by selecting the vendors and subcontractors to ensure the lowest price, while ensuring the highest quality, schedule delivery, and organizing all project-related equipment;
- Ensure compliance with company, industry, customer and jurisdictional safety standards, practices and codes;
- Some travel required; and
- Perform other duties as required.
Minimum Qualification:
- Minimum of 10 years industrial power, electrical/solar, mechanical, or engineering construction project management experience focusing on complex facility infrastructure construction, renovations, retrofits, upgrades in North America;
- Valid Drivers’ License in good standing, issued by resident province.
Additional Qualifications:
- Proven experience with safety standards, mechanical and electrical systems development, engineering, and project management regulations, practices, and codes;
- Demonstrated ability to effectively manage multiple priorities and foster positive business relationships.
- Proficient computer skills including MS Word, Excel, Project. Procore would be preferred;
- Strong verbal, written, computer, technical communication and presentation skills;
