JOB DESCRIPTION:

• Responsible for the administration, execution and management of Quality Engineering Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s), goals and objectives, related policies, safety rules, training, quality systems and procedures.

• Manages Quality Engineering and In-Process Quality Control sections.

• Regularly reviews and updates metrics to ensure attainment of goals as specified on the annual QME Business Plan.

• Generates weekly internal quality report for the weekly AMPI Staff Meeting (Top Management).

• Attends Daily Operations Meeting and provides Quality inputs on new or open issues both internal and external.

• Oversees the effective management of Customer Complaints (COMP), 8D submission and completion of all action items for all customer returns assigned to AMPI.

• Communicates and interacts with all departments from all levels at AMPI & Allegro HQ, and/or customers on quality related concerns or inquiries.

• Member of the Assembly and Test MRB team to resolve issues that may arise in the processing of lots.

• Leads the AMPI team to ensure successful results during customer audits.

• Performs internal audits as part of the Management Team Audit (MTA) based on IATF 16949, ISO 9000 and VDA 6.3 standards. Reviews and approves applicable documents for Assembly, Test and Probe Operations.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• Graduate of any Engineering Degree, preferably in Electronics, Electrical, Chemical or Mechanical, except Civil Engineering.

• Must have 7 years' experience as Quality personnel in the semiconductor probe, assembly and test or closely related industry.
