Controllers Coordinator-Site Accountant

The role exists to support entity accounting leader on daily Financial & Statutory reporting operation, prepare accurate and timely financial reports and statements, tax return with statutory reporting timeline.

Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Perform monthly closing activities within statutory reporting timeline
  • Ensure accurate and timely monthly, quarterly and year end close
  • Interface with external auditors
  • Support for external filing and reporting to government authorities, such as Tax Bureau, Finance Bureau, Statistic Bureau, need 30% travel to sites such as Songjiang plant
  • Work as entity accounting leader for branch offices
  • Attend the automation project of the team
  • Other tasks assigned by supervisor

Education and Experience

  • Minimum bachelor’s degree preferably in accounting, economics, statistics or a related field
  • A professional accounting qualification is a plus
  • 2 years accounting/finance experiences

Requirements and Key Competencies

  • Good command of English, especially in both oral and written
  • Practical experience in accounting software such as SAP, advanced skills with Excel (i.e., analytics, pivot tables). Experience with tools to drive finance automation is a plus
  • Has a broad understanding and able to apply quantitative methods in financial data analysis, has knowledge to translate large data sets into usable information
  • Can take reasonable pressure and is a good team player, attention to detail and accuracy
  • Working experience in foreign company is a plus
