Join our dynamic eCOA team as a Software Quality Engineer, where you'll take full ownership of software validation and quality assurance across clinical study projects. In this hands-on role, you'll lead the end-to-end testing effort—from reviewing and approving Computer System Validation (CSV) packages to executing test strategies aligned with SOPs and regulatory standards. You’ll be responsible for ensuring quality, meeting timelines, and proactively resolving roadblocks to keep projects on track. What you'll be doing
Quality Reviews & Risk Assessment
Review specifications and manuals for clarity, consistency, and testability
Identify quality gaps and provide actionable feedback to internal and external stakeholders
Assess project risks and recommend mitigation strategies
Test Design & Execution
Define test goals and design functional, integration, and performance test cases
Ensure traceability between requirements, test cases, and documentation
Execute test cases, generate test evidence, and manage test data
Defect Management & Analysis
Identify, document, and track bugs with clear reproduction steps
Perform root cause analysis and prioritize bug retesting
Evaluate test results and report deviations from expected behavior
Documentation & Compliance
Create and maintain test documentation aligned with SOPs and regulatory standards
Support internal and external audits, including regulatory agency reviews
Follow Good Clinical Practices and compliance protocols
Project & Test Management
Plan and monitor testing activities across multiple projects
Assign tasks, manage timelines, and escalate risks as needed
Provide accurate and timely status updates to stakeholders
Tool & Environment Management
Set up and maintain test environments and backend systems
Work with established tools including bug tracking, test management, and automation suites
Recommend improvements to tools and processes for greater efficiency
Collaboration & Leadership
Mentor and train new team members
Collaborate with offshore teams and other departments
Participate in cross-training, presentations, and departmental initiatives
Continuous Improvement & Strategy
Contribute to test strategy development and process optimization
Participate in CAPA sessions and root cause analysis
Stay informed on industry trends in software, healthcare, and regulatory domains
What we're looking for
BS, BA or equivalent in an Information Technology or related field required.
0-5 years software testing experience
Intermediate understanding of Software Development Process
ISTQB Foundation Level (optional)
Ability to self-develop
Good English language skills
Novice - intermediate knowledge of Test Automation
Novice - intermediate knowledge of Agile Methodologies
