UMB is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Trust, Estate & Private Wealth Intern to join our team. This internship provides a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in administering trusts and estates, estate plan reviews and planning discussions and related services and activities. As an intern, you will assist in a variety of tasks related to trust and estate administration, and supporting our wealth management services. This is an excellent opportunity for JD candidates or pre-law students looking to deepen their understanding of the implementation of estate plan and related wealth management services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the administration of trusts and estates, including reviewing documents and ensuring compliance with applicable law and regulations.
  • Help with estate planning processes, including review and summarizing documents.
  • Aid in managing unique assets within trust/estate portfolios, including monitoring financial transactions and account balances.
  • Provide research and administrative support for the Trust & Private Wealth team.
  • Work closely with to ensure client needs are met accurately and efficiently.

Qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing a JD (Juris Doctor) or pre-law degree.
  • Completion of sophomore year in college or higher.
  • Minimum GPA of 2.5 or above.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and work effectively in a team environment.
  • Interest in trust administration, estate planning, and private wealth management.

Compensation Range:

Minimum: $25,640.00 - Maximum: $59,330.00
