We’re looking for a TikTok Shop Onboarding Specialist to onboard new brands to the TikTok Shop marketplace for the Pattern Creators team. Creators is a software-as-a-service product within Pattern's ecommerce acceleration platform that offers a seamless solution for brands looking to build their ambassador programs, maximize their influencer marketing, and increase their revenue. This role will be an integral part of our Creators team and will own the shop setup for all of our brand partners onboarding onto the platform.
This is a full-time role and will work a hybrid schedule in Lehi, Utah.

What is a day in the life of a TikTok Shop Onboarding Specialist?
Oversee the onboarding process for all brand partners, either via the Pattern store or on the brand’s handle.
Manage the initial setup and configuration of TikTok Shop accounts, including inventory uploads, order processing systems, and listing creation for new clients.
Collaborate closely with internal teams to align on onboarding requirements, including assortment planning, pricing structures, and shipping logistics.
Build strong relationships with external stakeholders at TikTok and with brand partners to ensure a smooth and successful onboarding experience.
Ensure compliance with company and marketplace policies related to terms of service, privacy, and overall account health during the onboarding process.
Analyze onboarding metrics and initial GMV performance to provide insights and optimize the onboarding strategy in partnership with relevant stakeholders.
Create SOP’s and a streamlined onboarding process to ensure a white glove experience for all brands onboarding onto TikTok Shop
Support the adoption of new tools, features, and technologies that enhance the onboarding experience and functionality of TikTok Shop for new clients.
What will I need to thrive in this role?
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university.
2-3 years of experience working in e-commerce; brand, agency, or marketplace experience preferred.
Experience onboarding one or several brands into an online marketplace (Amazon, Walmart, TikTok Shop, etc.).
A strong analytical approach to business, with experience making high quality decisions in a rapidly evolving environment
Clear and effective communication skills, with the ability to speak to a broad range of key internal and external stakeholders (mid - high level executives)
A data driven mindset with a results oriented approach to driving a business
Familiarity with TikTok Shop is strongly preferred, but not required
Skills - Excel/Google Sheets, Presentations, Tableau/BI

What does success look like in the first 30, 60, 90 days?
30 Days:
In the first 30 days, success means quickly familiarizing yourself with TikTok Shop's platform, tools, and onboarding procedures. You should establish strong relationships with key internal stakeholders, including cross-functional teams, and begin building rapport with external partners. You will have successfully onboarded your first brand partners, ensuring their initial setup, including inventory management and listing creation, is seamless and efficient. You’ll also start monitoring account health and onboarding metrics to identify any immediate areas for improvement.
60 Days:
By 60 days, you’ll have a solid understanding of the onboarding process and will be proactively identifying opportunities to optimize and streamline these procedures. You’ll have onboarded multiple brand partners successfully, demonstrating your ability to manage and coordinate across various teams to ensure all onboarding aspects, such as pricing, shipping, and compliance, are aligned. Your relationship with external partners will be strong, enabling smooth communication and resolution of any issues. You’ll be actively using data insights to refine strategies, improve client onboarding experiences, and ensure overall shop health.
90 Days:
At the 90-day mark, you’ll be seen as a go-to expert for TikTok Shop onboarding, consistently delivering high-quality onboarding experiences for all brand partners. You’ll have successfully optimized the onboarding process, implementing improvements that have enhanced efficiency and client satisfaction. You’ll have developed a robust system for tracking and analyzing onboarding success metrics, and you’ll be actively contributing to strategic decisions that drive better outcomes for new clients. What is the team like?
You will work with TikTok Content Creators, a Marketplace Operations Specialist, and TikTok Shop Account Managers, and be supervised by the Director of Partnerships for TikTok Shop. This team is data driven and results oriented. You will collaborate regularly with members of your team to implement actionable solutions. Ideas and input are encouraged from all members.
