Who you are:

As an Operations Supervisor, you are our leader, providing guidance and support to every single team member on your team. In this role, you will be responsible for supervising the daily workflow of an Operations department assuring the accurate and timely handling of our customer’s receivables in order to maximize their cash-flow and minimize fraud. Our supervisors have a genuine care for people and enjoy developing people and do it with integrity, caring and excellence in mind.

What you’ll do:

  • Supervise department to ensure area is adequately staffed on a day-to-day basis and that all personnel are properly trained
  • Allocate, direct and monitor daily workflow in and out of the area to ensure work is procedural steps are followed and operating deadlines are met
  • Review and recommend new work procedures to make daily operations in the area more efficient
  • Handle exception items using established guidelines; refer more complex problems to the department manager
  • Assist in conducting performance evaluations and making personnel recommendations
  • Reconcile internal accounts on a daily basis and provide Corporate Billing with timely and correct data for billing to Customers using this service
  • Ensure that the area is adequately staffed on a day-to-day basis and insure that all personnel are trained and adhering to processing procedures
  • Contact and communicate with vendors regarding software and hardware issues
  • Ensure that internal controls are in place and functioning properly
  • Always take action using Integrity, Caring, and Excellence to achieve all-win outcomes

What you’ll need:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Organizational skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft computer applications

Additional Preferred Skills:

  • Bank operations experience within assigned department
  • Leadership experience
  • Understanding of both domestic and foreign wire processing.
  • Strong background and knowledge of foreign exchange processes and currency conversion.
  • Knowledge of cross border payment systems such as SWIFT and other international payment networks.
  • Strong skills in reconciling daily transactions, identifying discrepancies, and ensuring accurate account balancing.
  • Ability to manage high volume transaction workflows, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
